How to measure the voltage on the phone

The tools needed:

1. Multitester Digital / Analog, Digital is better, because the more accurate the results are unreadable.
2. DC Power Supply, regulated Voltagenya between 3.6 V - 4.1 Volt.
3. Jumper cables. (For PCB Connector Batterenya who separate, then the jumper wires soldered to the PCB hrs (Pole Batt + and -) connected to a new Power Supply.
Preparation Measurements:

1. Turn on the Power Supply, set the voltage is 3.6 s / d 4.1 V.
2. Solder jumper rev 2 pieces, one cable at the Pole + Batt (That sounds good in C165), and a longer cable on poles Batt - or at GND anywhere. then they will be connected both cables to the Power Supply

Power On: The voltage of the batt -> CCONT -> Switch.
VBB (Voltage baseband) = TEG. for the baseband IC such as UI, CPU, LCD, COBBA, Flash IC, etc.
VCore = voltage to the CPU as the Digital Processor.
VCP = Voltage Charge Pump, TEG. for IC Regulator to the VCO & RF IC
VCOBBA = TEG. Digital Audio IC for COBBA
VREF = TEG. reference clock for the RF IC Hagar (as Frequency Synthetizer) and for IC Audio COBBA (as Automatic Frequency Control) in the set RF Clock 26 Mhz.
VXO = Voltage XTAL Oscillator, voltage ICs for Crystal 26 Mhz
PURX = Power Up Reset -> Reset signal to the CPU from CCONT to start working.

Measurement Steps:

1. After preparation sdh Measurements done, then prepare multitester. (When there who do not understand how to use, can read further instructions here: Instructions for Use Digital multitester

2. Play Scale Multitester to 20 Volt DC

3. Paste the black cable to the Ground. And Red to the foot switch cable On / Off +, (bottom). Read the voltage, hrs figures showed> 3.6 V. And if the switch is pressed the result should be 0 V. If No TEG. Power On, HP can not live, but if charged will appear in use battere charged image, the solution checks CCONT, R118 (resistor Power On) and the path of Power On (Batt -> CCONT foot E4 -> Switch on / off.

4. Red cable C152 moved, press the On / Off, then its results must be 2.8 VXO, If the VXO morbidly out, HP will automatically Matot, because Crystal ill work out the frequency of 26 MHz for RF ICs, which will by Hagar will be divided by 2 13 Mhz and will be sent to the CPU, as RF Clock. therefore check CCONT, if VXO ill to appear.

5. Red to rev C107, VBB = 2.8 V, if no exit, HP will Matot, check CCONTnya.

6. Red to rev C108, VCP = 5V, if no exit, HP will be No Signal, manually searching lsg No network within a short time. Check CCONT.

7. Red to rev C140, VCore = 1.8 V, if no exit, HP will Matot, because the CPU will work ill, therefore check CCONTnya. If the Vcore <1.0 v vcobba = "2.8" n = "000000," Vref = "1.5 V," purx = "2.8 V" 227 = "connection">
